Make sure you've not missed these

The forum can be a bit overwhelming at times, so we thought we'd point out some nice threads you might want to read through.

Firsly a couple of long running threads

  1. It Was Acceptable In The 80's proves that given enough distance even 80's excess can become appealing
  2. Lets see the abandoned ones... is an epic 106 page catalogue of dead cars, which sounds like it should be horrible, but it is great

Then we'll have a couple more recent ones

  1. Astonishing Drag Race Photography is a discussion about a great set of photographs, maybe more should be added?
  2. Bike Carbs - How I Did It will form the basis of an excellent Useful Thread or Wiki entry.

For those of you who are looking forward to getting out and about this summer, don't forget the magnificent Retro Rides Gathering 09 as well as the Retro Rides events section from where we pluck this little gem from MSV about organising track days.

RR Member Of The Month : March

After a rather random passing comment in this thread forum member VIP became the very first RR Member of the month, being as he was Member Of The Month for February.  We thought it would end as a one off thing to keep us amused.  However it seems that it now has legs as mild mannered janitor Hongkongphooey walks away with member of the month for March, primarily for his quick transformation of the car you see on the right.  Applying a well worn formula with just the right amount of attention to detail and eye for quality is always a winner.

Welcome To The New Retro Rides Website

Well we finally got round to it, after five years, we've changed the Retro Rides front page to be a bit more dynamic.

This section here will be used to highlight good posts on the forum, new galleries in the gallery, new sections in the wiki and Retro Rides events, both local meets and our bigger Gatherings.

Thank you for you continued support of our community.
